The Novosibirsk Chamber Choir is a renowned classical music ensemble that has captivated audiences around the world with their exceptional performances. The choir was founded in 1960 in Novosibirsk, Russia, by conductor Arnold Kats, who served as the choir's artistic director until his death in 2007. Under Kats' leadership, the Novosibirsk Chamber Choir quickly gained a reputation for excellence, winning numerous awards and accolades for their performances. The choir's repertoire includes a wide range of classical music, from Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary works. One of the highlights of the choir's early career was their performance at the 1962 World's Fair in Seattle, where they received critical acclaim for their rendition of Russian folk songs. This performance helped to establish the choir's international reputation, and they soon began touring extensively throughout Europe and Asia.
