The three members of Trio Novanta first met in 2014, when they were all performing at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy. The group has also collaborated with many of the world's leading musicians, including violinist Maxim Vengerov and cellist Mischa Maisky. Trio Novanta has also received numerous awards and accolades for their performances and recordings. In 2017, the group was awarded the prestigious Echo Klassik award for their album "Beethoven: Triple Concerto & Piano Trio Op. 70 No. 1." The album, which was recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, received widespread critical acclaim and was praised for its "exquisite musicianship" and "impeccable technique." In addition to their performances and recordings, Trio Novanta is also committed to music education and outreach.
